Extra Special Super Kids Scholarship!

The Foundation for Good Business will seek out, recognize, and reward fifth through eighth grade children who, by their outstanding examples of honesty, work and citizenship, serve as role-models for their classmates. The child must consistently meet the following criteria:

  • Good behavior in an out of school;
  • Good work habits in and out of school;
  • Courteous and cordial interaction with peers and adults;
  • Consistent learning progress, dependability, and punctuality;
  • Honesty, trustworthiness, and respect for others' property

 

Those who meet these criteria are Extra Special Super Kids.

Participation in the program is voluntary, and all schools are encouraged to participate.

Each year participating schools will have the opportunity to nominate an Extra Special Super Kid for a college scholarship. The Directors of the Foundation will review the nominations and select the scholarship recipients.

In a ceremony at the recipient's school, the $1,000 scholarship will be awarded. The recipient's school will receive a $200 grant. In 1995, the board of directors voted to raise the grants to $2,000.

Scholarship funds will be held in trust until the recipient graduates.
